3 Fun And Cheap Easter Activities To Do With Your Child

With most things closed due to COVID-19 threat, including your Montessori Fullerton CA to your High school, you will need to do extra something to keep the children busy this Easter. To help you out, here are some easy to do, cheap and fun Easter activities.

Easter Egg Wreath: This is an easy fun activity to do with small children. All you need are colored papers, scissors and crayons. First fold the papers and cut them into egg shapes. Make sure you don’t cut through the middle so that it can be opened. Now write acts/things you want your child to follow, like “help a friend”, “Do homework in time”, etc. on the inside of the paper. On the outside, let the child’s imagination run riot. If you have craft items at hand, like sequins or glitters let them decorate as much as they like. Using another paper; cut into a thick round shape with a hole in the middle. Attach the eggs with messages on this “wreath” with glue and hang it or string it for everyone to see.

Fun with egg carton: Don’t through away the egg cartons; use it to make fun items that can not only teach your Montessori Fullerton, CA going child but make this lockdown fun. For this, apart from the egg carton, you will need some pipe cleaners and a marker pen in black. Cut three cups from one side of the egg carton, invert it, and attach the pipe cleaners by making small holes on the side. They become legs. Draw the eyes with the marker.

Eggs with wet chalk: Again, a great fun Easter activity for little ones. For this, you will need some colored chalks, white card stock paper and tapes. First, cut egg templates from the card stock, one per head. Then give the children the box of chalks, water and blue tape. Ask them to use the tape to make sections on the egg template and then wet the chalk and color the sections as they like. Once dry, you have to peel off the tapes. Your multi-colored Easter eggs are ready. You can use them in place of Easter eggs for an Easter egg hunt later on.
